4WD TOURING AUSTRALIA ULTIMATE ESCAPE Terms & Conditions

By entering the “4WD TOURING AUSTRALIA ULTIMATE ESCAPE” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1.        STANDARD TERMS
1.1     Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2.        WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1    Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia over 18 years of age.

2.2    Employees and their immediate families of 4WD Touring Australia and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3.        HOW TO ENTER
3.1    The competition commences on 6 March 2015 and closes on 30th January 2016.

3.2    Entry is via:
3.2.1  12 month Subscription to 4WD Touring Australia magazine: 100 entries
100 entries are obtained by the purchase of one 12 month subscription during the period 6 March 2015 and 30th January 2016. Entry is subject to a valid payment.

Subscriptions can be purchased via 4 entry points including 1) entry coupon in magazine; 2) online via www.isubscribe.com.au/4WD-Touring-Australia-Magazine-Subscription.cfm and www.magshop.com.au and select subscribe; and 3) online via www.4wdtouring.com.au and select subscribe; and 4) Via payment processed by a representative of 4WD Touring Australia at shows attended by 4WD Touring Australia. Subscription coupons are to be sent to 4WD Touring Australia magazine by mail at PO Box 4855, Sunshine Coast MC QLD 4065. All entries are subject to a valid payment.

3.2.2  12 month Subscription + DVD bundle purchase: 175 entries
175 entries are obtained with a purchase of 1 x 12 month subscription to 4WD Touring Australia including the DVD bundle of 4WD Touring Australia: Series 1 DVD and 4WD Touring Australia: Series 2 DVD and 4WD Touring Australia Series 3 DVD. This entry can be purchased and processed via www.4wdtouring.com.au during the period 6 March 2015 and 30th January 2016. Entry is subject to a valid payment.

3.2.3  24 month Subscription + DVD bundle purchase: 275 entries
275 entries are obtained with a purchase of 1 x 24 month subscription to 4WD Touring Australia including the DVD bundle of 4WD Touring Australia: Series 1 DVD and 4WD Touring Australia: Series 2 DVD and 4WD Touring Australia Series 3 DVD. This entry can be purchased and processed via www.4wdtouring.com.au during the period 6 March 2015 and 30th January 2016. Entry is subject to a valid payment.

3.2.4  Current subscriber email: 120 entries
All existing subscribers who, previous to the commencement of this competition, have subscribed to 4WD Touring Australia for 12 or 24 months are eligible for 120 entries into the competition. Existing subscribers may enter the 4WD Touring Australia Ultimate 4WD competition by sending an email to marketing@4wdtouring.com.au and providing correct entry coupon details including name, address, phone number and email address, plus subscription reference order number. One valid entry constitutes one current 12 month or 24 month subscription plus one email providing all detail advised in clause 3.2.4. Only one entry per person per subscription permitted. Entries for subscribers can also be submitted via www.4wdtouring.com.au in a form.

3.2.5  Entry coupon in 4WD Touring Australia magazine - 10 automatic entries
10 entries are obtained by sending an email to marketing@4wdtouring.com.au and providing correct entry coupon details including name, address, phone number and email address. An email constitutes one valid coupon entry.

3.2.6  Online entry form at www.4wdtouring.com.au - 1 free entry 
One free entry is obtained by entering the form online via www.4wdtouring.com.au.  Only one online entry per person per residency or email address is permitted.

3.2.7  Show entries – 1 free entry
Entries will be available at all shows attended by 4WD Touring Australia from 6 March 2015 to 30th January 2016. Only one show entry permitted per person.

3.2.8  Online Facebook entry – 1 free entry

One free entry is obtained by completing all the steps outlined in clause 3.2.8.1.

3.3    Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry permitted per specified subscription requirement (unless otherwise stated); and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements; (c) only one entry is permitted per person for each online entries (as outlined in clauses 3.2.6 and 3.2.8).

3.4    Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

3.5     Entries must be received by Friday 30th January 2016, 11.59pm.

3.6    The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.  Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

4.        PRIZES

4.1    There will be one winner.  The winner will receive the complete prize package, as set out below.
4.2     The total prize value is up to $150,291 and the total prize package consists of:

4.3    PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. Prize is not transferrable. The complete prize will be delivered to the winners address and will be available for delivery from Monday 7 March 2016.

4.4    In participating in the competition, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required with all editorial activities relating to the competition, including, but not limited to being interviewed and photographed for publication in 4WD Touring Australia Magazine. The winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such editorial and photographs in all media worldwide, and as such the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

4.5    The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is governed by 4WD Touring Australia’s Privacy Notice.

4.6    Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Prize is not transferrable.

5.        HOW TO WIN

5.1     The winning entry will be the first drawn, at 11 am on Wednesday 10th February 2016 at The Hilliard Trust T/A Mojo Management, 26 Shoalwater Court, Burleigh Waters, QLD 4220, (Electronic Drawing System approval: No. 1029).  The winner will be notified by post, email and phone on Thursday 11th February 2016.  The winner will be published in The Australian Newspaper on Monday 15h February 2016.

1. All entries become the property of the Promoter, Escape Media Pty Ltd, PO Box 4855 Sunshine Coast MC, Qld 4560, and may be used in future marketing promotions. The promoter takes no responsibility for any late, lost or misdirected entries.

1. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the conditions will be final and binding on every person who enters.  No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected mail.

1. The first valid draw from all entries received will win the 4WD Touring Australia Ultimate 4WD prize and all prizes therein.  Total prize valued at up to $150,291

1. Prize includes on road costs and registration. Prize does not include any insurance, accessories, petrol or any other ancillary costs.  Any additional options, insurance, accessories, petrol and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.  Vehicle insurance is the responsibility of the winner.

1. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for a change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.

1. The prize package is not transferable, redeemable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The complete prize will be delivered to the winners address and will be available for delivery from Monday 7 March 2016.

1. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any mechanical, body repairs from the date and time of delivery. The prizes depicted in all promotional materials are not necessarily the same colours or grade as the prize pack.

1. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.

1. The prize package will be available for delivery from Monday 7 March 2016, and delivery of the prize must be accepted by Friday 6 May 2016. If the prize package in its entirety has not been claimed it is the responsibility of Escape Media; the competition will be re-drawn on Tuesday 10 May 2016 at 11am, by The Hilliard Trust T/A Mojo Management, 26 Shoalwater Court, Burleigh Waters, QLD 4220, (Electronic Drawing System approval: No. 1029).  The Re-drawn winner will be notified by phone and by post on Wednesday 11 May 2016 and published in The Australian Newspaper on Thursday 12 May 2016.

6.        NO LIABILITY

1. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or inconsequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and companion) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

1. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.

1. Escape Media & affiliates and associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

6.4    Escape Media & affiliates will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim that may occur:
a)  during the draw;
b)  whilst undertaking any activity in or connected with their entry into the draw;
c)  in the participation in any prize;
d)  as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
e)  due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
f)   in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
g)  arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion;

6.5     Escape Media assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

6.6     If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
