SA: Bay to Birdwood, Adelaide Hills
This is the largest and longest-running historic motoring event in the world and boy, are South Australians proud of it. Car enthusiasts travel on an annual pilgrimage from West Beach to the National Motor Museum in Birdwood and it’s a grand old sight to behold. This year the focus will be on classic vehicles made between January 1, 1956 and December 31, 1978.

NT: Barkly Muster Gold Rush Camp Draft
Attention all horse folk – if you’re anywhere near Tennant Creek this weekend it would be criminal not to check this out. NSW: Deni Ute Muster
One of the most iconic car events in Australia, this two-day event gets bigger and brasher every year. Deniliquin is flooded with hotted-up utes and thousands of campers there to don blue singlets and sink some beers, check out each other’s rides, drool over the vehicles at the show ‘n’shine and lap up all the action at the bull ride spectacular, trade stalls, and whip cracking. The muster is so cool it even has its own Guinness World Record.
