Riding a tide of success after well-received updates to the D-MAX and MU-X, Isuzu Ute are determined to continue the upward trend with the announcement of a new managing director.
The incoming head honcho, Hiro Kuramote, has already set up shop in Brisbane and will take the reigns of Australia’s most dynamic offroad automaker in July, and he comes with over 20 years experience working in senior positions at Isuzu.
Outgoing boss Yasu Takeuchi gave the following reference for a bloke who’s earned a solid rep as one of the sharpest minds in the Asian auto game— “Hiro brings vast experience from leadership roles in one of the world’s most competitive automotive markets and I’m delighted to hand the reins to someone with that capability and perspective to lead IUA’s future success.”
The new bossman said,“Yasu and the team at IUA have put me in the privileged position and I look forward to the exciting challenge of leading IUA to the next level of its prosperity – focusing not only on sustainable sales growth but also increasing our customer satisfaction and retention.”
We’ll be keeping an ear to the ground for any updates once Mr Kuramote assumes his new role.
